The Epiciously Nonsense Blah Chase
Objective. The player that collects the full deck, wins.
Set up. A 2 to 4 player game. Shuffle the deck and deal out all cards face down. Each player holds their cards face down. Do not look at your cards.
Cards Types.
- BLAH Chase card: Cards with blahs on them. When you play this card the next player must chase or discard up to the number of blahs on the played card.
- Action Card: You or the next player must follow the action on the card.
- Nonsense card: This suit card is not special.
Gameplay.
The last person to who uttered nonsense, starts. In your turn, turn over the top card in your hand and place it on the discard pile. This is now the face card.
Play continues clockwise depending on the value of the face card on the discard pile.
If you play an action card, you or the next player must follow the action on the card.
Active Chase.
In normal game play, action cards are active during the chase. For example the nope card cancels a chase. To change the gameplay you can deactivate the action cards during the chase so they are used like nonsense cards. Choose which version you want to play at the start.
The BLAH Chase.
Playing any blah card starts the blah chase. When you play any blah card, play passes to the next player who must chase or discard up to the number of blahs on the face card.
Example Gameplay.
Player 1 plays a card with blah blah blah (3 blahs). Now player 2 must discard up to three cards one at a time. The first card is nonsense, the second is a single blah. The chase passes to the next player. Player 3 discards a nonsense card and so does not cover the chase. Player 2 wins the discard pile and adds these cards to the bottom of their hand.
If you are playing the variation where action cards are active during the chase then follow the instruction when the card lands. If action cards are not active during the chase, treat them like nonsense cards.
If you run out of cards, you are out of the game!
Game Pace.
Make the game epicious, and far more nonsense by shouting out every blah you see! Then once you have the hang of it, play a fast game. !FASTER!
